The Trusted User role combines the Author and Publisher roles (see Chapter 2 and Chapter 3). As a Trusted User, you can create new content items and publish them on the live website in one go, with a 'rapid' workflow. This is quicker, but you need to make sure yourself that the content is ready for publication.

Trusted role is aimed at experienced users who understand how to use the content management system and are responsible for publishing content for their service area or are publishing information that has already been checked for another format e.g. a press release that has already been sent to the local press.
