Most content types will let you add links. Links will appear at the bottom of the content, they will be displayed as some clickable text (their Title) followed by some description (their Description).
There are in fact two types of links:
external links, which link to a content item on the internet outside of the website
internal links, which link to one specific content within the website

In the 'Related Links' step of the Authoring tab, you will see a list of all links (if any) which have been put on the content so far. Below this is a form to let you add a new link. To do this:
enter a Title, this will be the clickable text of the link
enter a Description, this will be displayed right after the Title
choose whether the new link is an external or an internal one
if the link is external, enter the URL of the link
if the link is internal, click on Search to select the content you want to link to. In fact, you will have the possibility to either search for the content, or browse the categories until you find it
once you're finished, click on Create
Remember to enter a Title and a Description which are as explicit as possible; otherwise it may be difficult for some users to understand what the purpose of the link is; also some users need to know exactly what to expect before following a link.
