Some content types will give you the possibility to add one (and only one) image to the content. There are two ways for you to do this:
you can upload an image which you found somewhere on the internet, on a CD, etc. To do this:
click on 'Image' on the left side of the screen
click on 'Upload a new image'
click on 'Browse' and choose the image file to upload
enter a caption in the box
click on Save
you can reuse an image which has already been loaded into the system. To do this:
click on 'Select an existing image'
enter a keyword in the search box, and click on 'Search'
a list of corresponding images will be displayed. If the image you want isn't there, try another search
once you have found the image, click on the 'select' link next to it
finally, enter a Caption and click on Save.
The Caption describes what the image is about; it should be explicit enough for someone to visualise the image without actually seeing it. Move the cursor over an image on the final web page to see the caption displayed as the alt-tag.
Once you have loaded or selected an image for your content, and if you are not satisfied with it, you can repeat the process all over again. You can also change it if you wish. You won't need to re-load or re-select the image in order to achieve this.
Finally, remember that it is preferable not to load the same image again and again. Once you have loaded an image in the system once, 'select' it whenever you want to use it again. This will help keeping the list of loaded images short and clear.
