As an editor, your role is to check the overall suitability of content items. You will be assigned content items by other users. To review these items:
go to the User Home Page (/content-center in the address bar)
click on 'Approval' next to the name of the content item you want to review; if the action is not 'Approval', then it means the item is not ready for reviewing
preview the item just like Authors preview their new content items: see the section called “Previewing the content item”
back in the 'Authoring' tab, click on 'Finish Task' in the top-left 'Your assigned tasks' box
type in a comment (this is optional), and check the 'approve' or 'reject' tickbox, then click on 'Finish'
Once you have approved a content item, you will either be sent back to the User Home Page (if you do not have Publisher permissions), or you will be sent to the Lifecycle screen (see the section called “Publishing a content item”) when you can publish the item right away.
