Whenever you have edited a content item, you can preview it and see if you are satisfied with the result. There are two ways to do this:
click on the 'Preview' link, which is near the top-right corner of the screen. This will display the item as it will appear on the live website once published. (This is true if the web templates are in place, otherwise the item will be displayed with a basic look and feel.)
click on the 'Summary' tab, which is the left-most tab in the list of red tabs at the top of the screen. This will display a list of the basic properties of the item, but not its content (images, body text). The Summary doesn't contain any design or look-and-feel of the live website.
If you are not satisfied in any way by the result, go back to the Authoring tab and make any changes you want. It is important that you preview your content item before proceeding further
